Abigail Breslin, Wise Beyond Her Years

Abigail Breslin  is a 12-year-old overachiever and is one of the youngest ever to be nominated for an Academdy Award.  Since then she has co-starred with Catherine Zeta-Jones in No Reservations, Ryan Reynolds in Definitely, Maybe and Jodie Foster in Nim's Island

All three of those adult actors confirm that Breslin has an instinctive ability to deliver lines with the correct tone. She continues to impress her older colleagues in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl. In the movie, opening on Wednesday, Breslin plays an ambitious, strong-willed child growing up in Cincinnati during the Great Depression of the 1930s.  Read More
