13 Year old 'Water Horse' Star Masters a Scottish Accent and Endures Icy Waters

Being a child actor certainly has its perks, but acting for 13-year-old Alex Etel is not all fun and games. Alex first gained fame with his performance as the saint-obsessed money-finder in Millions.   But acting in The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep was hard work. Alex had to master a Scottish accent, not to mention the physically demanding scenes in icy waters. Perhaps the most difficult aspect of the movie was he had to believably interact with a puppet or a tennis ball at the end of a long stick.
